Received voice message from 951-386-9708 this AM, a robotic voice said the IRS was filing a law suit against me. This is an illegal scam,period. A complaint was made to the Federal Trade Commission and my local police.
We received a message on our answering machine from this number, stating it was the Internal Revenue and they were going to sue us. My 12 year old son heard the message and came running to find me in the house and was almost hysterical, being afraid that we were being sued. I called the number back and got a message stating "The person you are trying to reach is not available at this time". I have reported this to our Attorney General.
Got a call from this number. I did not answer it. Kind of wish I did now. If everyone else is being told it is the IRS as I am Canadian and the IRS have no reason to come after me and no jurisdiction over me.
