I live in Canada and they just called and asked if I would mind answering a 30 second survey on the President of the United States. I didn't have time to answer they hung up. But I would have been glad to answer their survey.
I just got the call and I was expecting someone else but no one answered. The best thing to do about these calls are ignore them. Or if they keep calling, report it to the FTC. It doesn't matter if you're American, Canadian, Norwegian, or whatever, if they have a number, they or the computer will call you. The FTC can't investigate what it doesn't know and chances are with personnel shortages and limitations in general, they're only going to investigate actual fraud calls and not just annoying calls like this. That dude whining about them doing their jobs, really? It's like demanding that the cops wake up and arrest jaywalkers while real criminals get away. Get a clue, or best, take your meds.
Yeah, these calls are a pain, and especially if they call in inopportune moments, but best advice is, if you don't recognize the number, don't answer. If it's someone who knows you or it's important, they'll leave a message.
all you need is an answering machine and call display ... I NEVER answer calls I dod not recognise ... if it's important they can leave a message and I can sceen the calls .... but they never do
Got a call this aft but i dont answer 800 numbers unless a name is showing that i recognize. They have called here several times. Keep on trying....nobody home!!!!
