I have been receiving calls from these people for more than 5 years. You can opt out of receiving the calls but I believe that is from the number that just called. I have received 6 of these call within the last 9 days and my caller ID has shown 6 different numbers. DO NOT release any info to these people. It is a scam.
This number is being "Spoofed" by Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO. They will try and gather enough information to create an account. Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.
I have been geting numerous calls from numbers like this one. When you start to tell them to stop calling tey hantg up on you. What can be done to stop these calla?
The caller ID said "Lower Interest", so I didn't bother answering. They did leave a message, but it was just a recording. At least I got the opportunity to add them to my phone's block list.
One thing I've found useful is to set the number of times my phone ring to its highest number. In my case, I think it is six. The robocalls often don't wait that long and therefore don't leave a message. If I happen to be sitting at the computer, I can look up the number while it's still ringing.
