I received numerous calls from them over the last few weeks. Don't give out any information. This has to be a scam to get your credit card number. I picked it up to get the phone to stop ringing. I know of no way to stop these. It isn't worth the time to push three to tell them to stop. It doesn't work. I don't even think they know if you have a credit card. These are just random calls and they hope to find someone who will fall for their bait.
These people have been calling me for weeks from different numbers. The recorded message is always the same though. Their scam is to make you believe that they have something to do with your credit card and are offering you to lower your interest rates. If you are interested you're supposed to press 1 to talk to a representative. I've done that on three occasions now to ask them to please take my number off their call list but each time they hung up on me.
None of these practices are things that any legitimate company would use. This is clearly a SCAM. Please don't fall for it. No credit card company would ever call you up and offer you to reduce your interest rates. They would also not use recorded messages or hang up on you. Also, never give out any personal info to anyone over the phone that called you out of the blue.
