Again, it's quite IRRELEVANT whether 972-378-3660 is a legit COAF number. The right number to call for existing COAF auto loan accounts is 800-946-0332 for a live COAF representative or customers can log in securely and view their COAF auto loan account online. COAF customers should *NOT* call back on 972-378-3660 -- this number does NOT appear on Capitol One's website contact page. Since we are talking about existing accounts, Capitol One already has ALL your info so no need to confirm any info with a stranger who calls you from a number that is NOT listed on the bank's website. Giving away personal info to a stranger calling from a strange number is STUPID.
My husband and I have a auto loan through Capital One. We to are on time with them. This is the third time they have called. Both my husband and I are on the loan, but they just call me. I don't answer it. They leave no message. We are on time with our payments. And becareful how you sent your payments. I send a check every month. If you don't authorize them to debt your account they will any ways. It is illegal.

As I write this the phone is ringing, I appreciate Capital One telling me I owe them money 11 times a day, if they don't call and remind every 90 minutes I might forget that My wife had a power of attorney and bought a car under my name with them financing while I was deployed, Thanks Capitol One I no longer need an alarm to know 90 minutes have passed, good luck getting me to answer.
I've been getting calls from this number every day for the past three days (so far). I haven't answered any of them, and they never leave a message, so I came to this site to find out who it was. Glad I did! Thanks to everyone's posts, I now know it's Capital One Auto Finance, which makes sense because I got a car loan through them last week. The weird thing is, my previous car (the one I just traded in) was also financed through them, but they never called until I got this new car. And as with several other posters, my first payment isn't even due until next month! Anyway, thanks everyone -- I'll just keep hitting IGNORE :-)
