The right number to call for existing COAF auto loan accounts is 800-946-0332 for a live COAF representative or customers can log in securely and view their COAF auto loan account online. COAF customers should *NOT* call back on 972-378-3660 -- this number does NOT appear on Capitol One's website contact page. Since we are talking about existing accounts, Capitol One already has ALL your info so no need to confirm any info with a stranger who calls you from a number that is NOT listed on the bank's website. Giving away personal info to a stranger calling from a strange number is STUPID.
Your heading...report a phone call from 972-378-3660 should say...report phone "CALLS" from 972-378-3660....Lord knows we get enough of them. I understand maybe the need to remind those, who like we, that have made late payments....but come on....3 to 10 times a day for 7 days a week.....I think one call or voicemail 1 time deuring the week payment is due is sufficient....sure would be more calming that the harassment they are doing.....Too bad the reorts to FCC, BBB etc is a waste of time.....from the messages here I see no action from them taken to help stop the harassment.
We don't have loans through them either, but my father does. They call looking for him. He didn't even put me down as a reference. They just assume that since my maiden name is the same as his, that I know him. Irritating because I've told them more than once that he does not live here and not to call me.
The person they are calling is probably not you all; but it's a number they have for the individual they are looking for; Tell them the next time they call that they have a wrong number and I'm sure they will stop calling. Capital One can be a pain in the butt at times. They will keep calling you all day long. It's crazy.
