The right number to call for existing COAF auto loan accounts is 800-946-0332 for a live COAF representative or customers can log in securely and view their COAF auto loan account online. COAF customers should *NOT* call back on 972-378-3660 -- this number does NOT appear on Capitol One's website contact page. Since we are talking about existing accounts, Capitol One already has ALL your info so no need to confirm any info with a stranger who calls you from a number that is NOT listed on the bank's website. Giving away personal info to a stranger calling from a strange number is STUPID.

The absolute WORST thing someone could do is get a loan through Capital One. I bought a car with them on a Saturday in September 2009. The next day my phone was flooded with calls from a number I didn't recognize. I finally got sick of my phone buzzing during the church service and went outside to answer it. Turns out they were flooding me with calls asking how I was going to be making my first payment. WHILE I WAS AT CHURCH!!! I was SO PISSED that I called them back and chewed out the girl who answered. I hadn't even had the car 24 hours! I knew I was in trouble then, and I told the girl I already regretted my decision to finance my car with them. They are HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE people, and I hate speaking with ESL Indians when I have a question about my financing. DO NOT FINANCE WITH CAPITAL ONE!!!!
