Claimed they were Tech Support and that we had a problem with our computer. This scam was identified on our local news in Toronto. They put you on a website, gain access to your machine, put on a virus and then charge you to get it off. Also other scam is that you give them remote access and they steal personal info from your machine. They also can put on keyloggers in order to access your on-line banking etc. They got frustrated and hung on when I kept asking them questions.
Firstly lets talk about the definition of a scam. A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle.thats what a scam means. Now whoever posts here has to understand one thing this is a number for a Tech Support Company and not a fraud business. Also secondly one can never forget that in all kind of businesses there are good as well as bad people. But people who are technically strong will agree to the fact that this way of business is completely safe for the consumers as we never ask for credit card details over the phone, Secondly taking control of computers is not possible all that is done is a remote sharing session which helps us share the screen and can be stopped whenever needed immediately by the consumer. We do appreciate your comments and will try to modify our business ways but we would also appreciate if you try pulling up additional information of the phone number that you call a scam
The most important thing that we would like to get into your notice is that we are located in Katy, texas and dont have any employee who is from the Middle East.
For any queries and complaints pls call Teche Support at 1-713-559-1797
Hello Shill. You work for a fraudulent scam operation. Tech support is something the user asks for, not something that comes unsolicited whether there happens to be a problem or not. Calling someone at random and telling them they have a technical problem when you really don't know whether they do or not is fraud. Fortunately, when your company called me, I called *57, and now the police are handling it.
