This number 9729614040, called my number to tell me there is a lawsuit against my mother Heidi Davidson with a claim number pending, 201634595 with a final notice... thank you, please have them not call me!
NCR has contacted me 3 different times claiming I will be taken to court for a loan I have no recollection of. The first time I was hung up on when I questioned the man and told him that I wanted something in writing. The second time I received a voice mail box that was full and the 3rd time they almost got me because they had all of my personal information until they asked for my banking information (routing and acct.#) after telling me that they only except checks. Sounded a little fishy so I refused and told them I wanted something in writing. The # they say to call on the message is972-961-4040. Today, the man said his name was Jessie Carter and gave me a direct # of 425-405-7122 ext. 305.
Recieved a phone called today from # 9729614040 saying a law suit will be filled again me and that I could call that number back or have my attorney call. The called from a local number 7707278540 but want you t9 call the 972 number. They left no name but left a file number. When I called the local number back it puts you on hold with music. I think this is a scam. It gives you no name from who is the creditor or anything. Be careful.
This is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt. One of the tricks they use is to call your work place repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying. They also use the “process server” who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Hey Everyone, I just spoke to these clowns that calling from anNCA recovery group. They say they are with national credit adjusters, but the account information that they have is incorrect. They say I have a loan that has been paid off for about 5 years from a BMG. So I contacted national credit adjusters where I paid the debt and there is nothing out there for me. I am going to report this clown to the local police department in my county and to the FTC. So be aware. They are calling from different numbers.
Thank you BigA. That is my plan right now since I have time. I just posted another comment about them. I called h back and gave him a piece of my mine. I going to report them. Thanks for the in lnfo. People just don't have anything else to do but to try to destroy other people. Thanks.
