I also delt with a crook Jack Ryan. They all have English names which are phoney. I got billed on Mastercard without my ok after I let them into my computer and they got my info. They also promised a refund by cheque but I had to send extra money via Western Union because they claimed they had a minimum cheque amount policy. They sucked me in. Nobody should deal with the crooks from Esolving.
I like to talk extemely loud and in a terrible accent (not theirs)saying"no english, speak no english, you give money? give me? give money me?" over and over and louder.usually by third repeat they hang up and so far I've had no recalls...I know, bad girl! hee hee
I am fed up with receiving calls of this nature. They are not even telemarketers they are scammers calling all hours of the day and night trying to get that one time someone who will give them what they want. They disgust me. I am sorry to say of all the calls I have answered not one can speak clear English, the same communication problem as when our Canadian phone and internet providers shoved us overseas when we needed customer or tech services. I think some of those people have figured out a way to now scam us. This number has now been showing up, usually it was 123-456-789. I told the caller early this morning to stop calling or I would report them to the authorities. In the background was noise of many people talking in what I believe is an East Indian accent and language. Shut these people down!!
I have been getting these phone calls all morning. My problem is I have a husband sleeping because he is on the midnight shift and I can't let the phone ring. I am handicapped and I am just about at the end of my rope with this getting up and down for a phone call that shouldn't be coming in anyway. We went on the do not call list for this reason!
I was just called as well from 1-647-288-1790, about activity my computer. (The number showed in our call display). I Googled the number to find this forum.
The women asked me if I was on the computer. When I said no, she wanted me to go and turn it on, and she would assit me. I didn't, but instead asked her some questions.
Apparantly, they are called; Work on Works Platform, in Salt Lake City, UT.
She was persistent, in asking why, and countering anything I said.
Received a call this morning from them. Indian lady frantically stating she needed to get to my computer to install a virus fix. She implied that she was calling from Microsoft and was calling all Microsoft Clients, like that would happen. She kept asking if she could call me back in 3 minutes or if I would call her back. I hung up on her and will block the number. Most stupid scam I have heard of lately.
