I also delt with a crook Jack Ryan. They all have English names which are phoney. I got billed on Mastercard without my ok after I let them into my computer and they got my info. They also promised a refund by cheque but I had to send extra money via Western Union because they claimed they had a minimum cheque amount policy. They sucked me in. Nobody should deal with the crooks from Esolving.

My husband got a call this morning, from "Jennie" at this number. He called me at work and told me I had to call her by 1:50pm. Instead, when I got home, I called my servers tech help line. A very helpful technician there assured me that this IS a scam, and he would report it to his supervisor, who he thinks, will report it to the police. If "Jennie" calls back again, I will call the police myself. Call display showed unknown name and all zeros as the number. I am so glad we have options of calling help to our internet suppliers. I am in Ontario Canada too.
Got call from someone claiming to be from 'e-solving', saying they were sub-conracted by microsoft to help fix Windows performance issues. I went along with it for a while, trying to get bits of info out of the guy. Eventually, after getting this bogus phone number, I said I was busy and had to go. At this point he said yes, but asked me to first quickly go to the start menu and... at this point I just hung up.
Help...my husband answered the phone and actually did this. I'm mad enough about the 132$ he paid for this scam, but I'm scared to death at the thought that someone was in our computer. Do I need to have it reformatted?
