Caller ID comes up TEST, and it is a new CC SCAM to lower interest Rate.
Press 1 - Some guy that starts talking in Indian/Pakistan along with some English. I said we speak English in the US.
He gets pissed and starts spouting some crap. Which tells me he is more Pakistan.
This is the SCUM of the earth.
If you can't speak English - Don't call Americans!
Calls and leaves no message. Caller ID says TEST. I'm on the do not call list but get an average of 6 scam calls a day! How can they call when you're on the do not call list?
I decided to answer. Robocall about reducing credit card interest rate. Last chance (suuuure). Press one if interested. Pressed one, Indian accented male answered, English is decent. Attempted to do script and my deviations and/or impatience caused him to pause or be frustrated. When he asked for the interest rate, I asked him wouldn't he know since he claimed to have info on me. He said 8%. Wrongo!! He said he had info from Experian. I had him repeat it and asked for the name on the report. He spelled my last name. I then terminated the conversation after telling him I will contact Experian.
If there was a way to speak with him with my telephone number blocked, I would had. I doubt he had an Experian credit report but was making it up because my telephone number would be associated with my name.
I am on the DNC but these thieves don't care. If the telephone companies must connect calls, they should offer unlimited call blockage service.
