Press 1 - Some guy that starts talking in Indian/Pakistan along with some English. I said we speak English in the US.
He gets pissed and starts spouting some crap. Which tells me he is more Pakistan.

Your caller is a scammer. These calls are coming out of India. The government has shut down a couple call "credit card" call centers in the past but without the cooperation of the Indian government, nothing short of a drone strike will stop them. Now for the DNC. It is just a LIST. It was not created for, nor was it ever intended to do anything more than provide Legitimate American businesses "who are Registered with the FTC" a monthly copy of that LIST. They are required to purchase that list every 30 days and have it updated by the 31st day. Should reports start flowing in concerning these "Registered with the FTC" Businesses, they are fined 16K per violation. In order to Register and have access to the Registries list, they must provide an application giving all of their business information, with Principal officers, phone numbers, physical and mailing locations, sic codes, Federal tax ID number, and must wait from 30 to 90 days for FTC approval and entry into their Data base. These are the legitimate and honest businesses who do this in order not to offend any of those who have signed up on the DNC list and since they are easily found and fined, they can't afford too many 16k hits or the loss of business due to loss of customer base. The DNC is simply a section within the FTC. Unless both you and your caller is registered within the DNC/FTC data base, your complaint goes into file 13 and Your caller is a scammer, scofflaw, thief.......
dimster, you haven't been reading the previous posts very closely. Go back to page one and read len's post on why the DNC is not doing what so many think it is supposed to do.
