Have received calls from this number on several occasion say that they are with Windows. THIS IS A SCAM. They try to gain remote access of your computer to hack your information. They tell you that they are getting error reports from your computer and need remote access to fix it. DON'T DO IT. Windows is a Microsoft product and; after a chat with Microsoft corporate; understand they Microsoft will NEVER INITIATE contact with you unless you specifically request contact. BLOCK THIS NUMBER! Also they have called back within minutes with a call that has no caller ID. It's the same demons.
SPAM= Jamaica, NY number. Just got a call from this number. The person from India said my computer was downloading a bad file and I should turn on my computer while on the phone. He spoke very fast and I just had to laugh at him. Of course I just hung up. When I tried to dial the number it was disconnected.
Scary, the person from India (accent) asked for me by name, and knew what model Dell computer I had, Claimed my computer was downloading bad files. Told him my computer was at the Dell rapid repair depot so it was definitely NOT downloading bad files and hung up.
