Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."
Everyone calm down!
The Do Not Call law is ineffective/useless.
Filing an FCC report is also useless.
Spend $40 and buy a call blocking phone.
BLOCK THEIR CALLS AND QUIT COMPLAINING!
This outfit is nothing but a fraud and a rip-off! Stay away from them. Report them to the "National DO NOT CALL" registry. I'm alredy signed up on the do not call registry and they've called me three or four times. IT'S ALL ABOUT WANTING TO GET YOUR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT #'S for a rip-off !!!
Anyone know how to get an address on this con outfit? I think I know a way to stop them if I can find them! I have filed multiple complaints on the donotcall.gov website. A baseball bat might be more persuasive.
I just received a call from this 971 220 1032 (Oregon). When I answered, no one responded so I quickly punched the pound key multiple times---I heard that if you do this then it screws up their robo phone settings, at least temporarily because they do use multiple numbers and locations (thanks to our technology).
I have a question about blocking number----I have one Panasonic and one AT&T phone set----If I block on the Panasonic, will the other phone also block? Thanks.
Just wanted to say that even if the source company is in MO, they are using the 971 (Oregon) location for most of their calls ( just look at the lists). I would think that the authorities would be able to hone in on the location of their phones. They probably just don't want to bother.
