Called asking for the old CEO who left over 10 years ago. He was "surprised" to hear that. Then asked for the new CEO. I asked what the call was about and he just told me he used to do business with the old CEO and he wanted to chat with the new one. There is no way I would transfer with that information so I sent him to a voicemail. He hung up before the call completed.
Out of area call. Claimed to be Tucker and Associates wants our collections business. I just laugh and tell them we are a COD business. Mostly we are and don't need this type of service and told them to take us off their calling list. So far, they haven't called me back.
Called, asked for my boss by his formal name which no one uses. Asked what it was about and where he was calling from and he just asked if my boss was in. I told him he was but would need more info to tell him and he said his name was Adam. When I asked what it was about he just told me to stop talking, get boss on the phone and he would tell him ALL about it. I told him that he will NOT take the call unless I have more info and he just hung up on me. What an [***].
