Lady called asking to speak to manager, said her name is Rachel. Lots of background noise and bad echo on phone. Everything I said would echo back. She wanted to know who orders parts, manager put her through to directors voicemail. She hung up and tried calling back 2 minutes later. Not sure if scam or not, but if it looks like a duck.....beware!!!!
Rachel just called again, asked who manager was. I told her she had just spoken with him a few minutes ago. I asked her what company she is with, she hesitated and then told me Atlas. Hummm, she told my manager Horizon earlier when she spoke with him. When I started to question her on this, all of a sudden she says. "oh I'll have to call you back, my manager needs me" click and she was gone. Guess she figured out I don't play this game. This number is a SCAM Do not give them any information.
Rachel called our office about 3 times. First time, she asked for mail room. Second time she called, she asked for IT manager. When my receptionist connected her to me (I'm the office mgr.), she indicated that she wanted to send their new catalog & that she'll be out in my area in Jan. She wants me to schedule an hour long lunch - her treat - and that she's going to send me a Mikasa candy dish filled with her favorite candy. Strange. Rachel then slid into her sales pitch to sell me computer cleaning supplies. She has a total East Coast-accent.
When I answered the phone all I could hear was loud chewing. I said hello twice and the second time he was trying to speak while swallowing his food and said he was with a freight delivery company. He then continued to masticate loudly the entire time on the phone and was extremely rude. Would not answer my question as to what type of delivery it was (still chewing away). I hung up on him
People are crazy, literally just got cussed out by two people from this company. Keep calling trying to talk to any department head they can. Not falling for it.
Called and said they were from Horizon and wanted to talk to the guy she talked to last week regarding MSDS. I told her it was me and she said no she wanted to talk to him regarding ordering supplies and I told her no and she said she would call back and talk to the owner to which I said no and she got very rude and was like "Whatever [***]. I will call back and talk to who I want." Then she hung up in my face.
