Lady called asking to speak to manager, said her name is Rachel. Lots of background noise and bad echo on phone. Everything I said would echo back. She wanted to know who orders parts, manager put her through to directors voicemail. She hung up and tried calling back 2 minutes later. Not sure if scam or not, but if it looks like a duck.....beware!!!!
Got a call from "Jessica at Horizon" who want to speak with the owner about sending out MSDS sheets he requested. There were never any MSDS sheets requested. Informed her he wasn't in the office and she asked for his cell phone. Informed her I do not give that out and offered to take a message for her. She stated she was at a trade show and would have to call back.
She was grasping for any contact information she could get.
Caller was very forceful and demanded to speak our mechanic regarding a delivery. When I wouldn't give out his number she told me to tell him that this "delivery" wasn't worth the trouble and that she was taking the product back. She refused to give me a call back number or company name. Our mechanic had no idea what "delivery" she could have been talking about. Caller id only had this phone number and "Corp Office".
Definitely seemed like a scam in my opinion.
Dude called and asked for the kitchen. I told him that we were in the middle of lunch right now and asked if i could have someone call him back. Irritated he said that he wanted to order lunch. I informed him that i could take his lunch order. Even more irritated he asked what the specials were. I told him what they were and he hung up on me. OBVIOUSLY a sales call. The caller ID said Corp Office with a 201 area code. Our corporate office is a mile down the road.
