I received a call on my cell that was an automated message, male voice with slight non-descriptive accent (understandable). He said that he was calling from AT&T and that my U-Verse system was reporting an error and that my system had been compromised and that I needed to call back at the same number. TOTAL SCAMMING/PHISHING operation. BLOCKED THE NUMBER.

My daughter got a call from this number and when She answered it rang then a Indian guy answered and said he was from Microsoft and that her laptop has been sending out errors and to log on and he would connect it and remove what was wrong then she handed to phone to me and he told me the same thing but getting aggravated and I hung up. Totally a scam.
Same as the others. Scammer from Windows PC support. When I told him his [***] goats, he kept trying to tell me that a scammer wouldn't have my Windows ID. I hung up on him and he called back 8 times in the space of 10 minutes. Tried to call the number back and it's a spoofed number.
They call our business claiming that if we don't follow their instructions that our computer will crash. Sounds very suspicious. I always hang up on them and they will call right back. Who are these people? They say Microsoft? I just don't believe it...
