We got the call saying somebody is calling from U.S TREASURE INSPECTOR OF TAX ADDMINISTRATION in Washington.He said that there were some mistakes in tax return and that it wasn't corrected and that's why they will arrest us and take us to Washington.Really unpleasant.
hi all we got same message Friday saying it was also a Federal Treasury investigation under our name case CM100177 and phone number 9175038518 we thought it was fishy as IRF usually communicates by mail so went back to research online and got this website. Watch out as IRS filing starts and they are very confident on what they are doing...fooling people and getting you into a deeper hole...This is very unfortunate but that people make a living this way...
Just got back to back calls. Same all info same call back number 202-241-7811. US Treasury Dept. Same claim/report number CM 100177. The guy said he was an investigator for the department and the my property is under investigation
I called the phone number back " a pre recorded message said busy helping others. Asked to please leave your name and number

I got a phone message from the guy called Eric Smith. He had a middle eastern accent and claimed he has a tax investigation claim for me. The filing number was CM100177 and asked me to call back the number for 202-241-7811.
This is a scam and do not respond.
