Got a phone number 202 864 17 91 call saying I owed 49805.93 from taxes due 2006 2007 a and 2011 said I received mail back in December me and my wife don't remember also receiving number from 206-201-2799also saying they are IRS did not leak case number or even how much I owe per year said all paperwork was sent to the court house in Washington DC haha joke
Got a call from 202-864-1791 today asking for me by my MAIDEN name LOL. Heavy Indian accent no name given just that he was an agent form the IRS. Told me I owed back taxes and that a lawsuit had been filed against me. I started laughing because I knew about this scam and told him that if this really was the IRS they'd know they had "my name wrong so what are the last 4 digits of the SS# of the person you are looking for?" he paused for a bit then said "3214" which is wrong. So I laughed harder at him and said I know this is a scam but nice try scumbag and good luck you [***]!" and hung up. I then called the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484 like the IRS tells us too and the recorded message said due to high call volume from this scam to report it on the TIGTA.gov website, which I did. Asshats lol
Heavy Indian accent & couldn't pronounce a very common last name. He asked me if I was aware that I was being sued by the IRS. I told him I hadn't gotten anything in the mail from the IRS so he was full of crap and to never call me again. Of course he hung up.

I received a call today as well. Honestly, I was scared to death! I am feeling relief after finding this site. Caller was saying that he was Richard Webber from the audit department of the IRS. They claimed I owed $4985 in back taxes from 2008-2013. I began asking questions and he told me not to interrupt him. He said my license would be cancelled and my bank accounts frozen in a matter of hours. He also indicated that there was a looming lawsuit against me and that would amount to $75000 and possible jail time. I asked who I could contact to verify this information and we were disconnected. I called my husband and he said it had to be a scam and then I searched the web and found this information. The number that called me is 2028641791 and when I tried to call it I was informed that my number could not go through....terrible scam...
Got a call from this number Indian accent man said he was with the irs and they had a audit against me I told him I believe him as much as I can throw him and not to ever call me back he hung up immediately......I am so freakin tired of scammers I just keep blocking all these Efin calls I get weekly and daily from different numbers they can kiss my butt... A couple days ago I got a call from a different number but from the same guy Nd I already blocked that number..so I guess he was trying from a new number......dumb [***]
