I just got a called from them today stating the same thing as everyone else. It's funny because IRS sends letters for demand payments to levying letters. Never do they call you phone ever. I didn't file my taxes yet And they got my number. I don't know how they got my number because when you do tax returns, you don't put phone numbers.
Whoever this is uses different numbers; sometimes when I call back from another number, you can tell that the number is relayed to somewhere else. The message left on the phone always states it is the IRS and to call back immediately. No one ever answers any of the questions posed to them when I do reach someone. I have accused them of being a scam and they hang up. Never do I answer my phone and I always call them from a different phone. English is very poor.
