I didn't answer I rejected the call they left a voicemail saying I was in trouble with the IRS call the number but I never did I figured it was a scam

Scam I hung up

Caller left message saying that "IRS is suing lawsuit against" me, or somesuch broken English. Scam obviously.

Just received a call from this number - automated recording that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me - final call.  Wanted to me to call the number back - umm not going to - total SCAM

Exactly. The IRS does not CALL you. They also do not EMAIL or TEXT you. They do not get a hold of you in ANY way except USPS and that is nearly ALWAYS certified letter with return receipt
