Left 2 identical messages on voice mail today saying the IRS issued an arrest warrant for me along with my physical property, and I. must call them immediately to avoid prosecution/loss of property. I ignored them. I made a call I'd put off to make sure the IRS had deposited my refund.
Received the call about 1/2 hour ago. I'm familiar with the scam and so let them finish the call and message left by them. This is apparently a fairly new number they're using. Anyway I went and got my police whistle, the loudest money can buy. Called back and got through after about 6 tries. A guy answered, of course heavily accented. I gave him a long blast and waited for a reply. This is about the 4th time I've got them. Maybe I'm wasting time but I do get self satisfaction from my juvenile act.
I, too , received a bogus message with a computer generated voice.. Very bad computer voice... I knew very well the IRS had not issued an arrest for me & my home would be confiscated.. ha! ha! All crazy!! arrrgghhh I hate these kind of people!! :(
also, got a recorded call from this number, saying an arrest warrant was issued for me(did not use my name) and the irs was taking all my property. Had got one from another number before and called back, after about 50 rings a chinese guy answered that sounded just like the scam calls we have received from Windows computer tech to fix the computer. When i just laughed,he said "why you laughing like a dog" How can we stop these calls. we get 2-4 a day at times.
