Sick of them
I just filed a complaint with the NDNC list after repeated attemtes to be removed pressing to be removed and talking to human to be removed, tonight the lady tried to tell me that my "lender" put me in for them to call me and they do not have to go by the NDNC list. I know for a fact them is crap. When I asked her what is the name of the person she is trying to reach she hung up on me.
I advise all to file complaints maybe then some one might stop them.

These scammers are well funded---likely by "organized crime" thugs who have big money through illegal drug sales. LEGAL "privacy policy" information is SOLD to these scumbags--which partially explains HOW they get your number. And these scammers have the ca$h to hire "Red Hat" computer hackers--who worm into your computer via email and trojan horse "dialer" programs as well--which further explains HOW they get YOUR number....and then some in many cases.

And when phone scam profit$ get too low---they get bolder and try MAILING you scam deals like their "lower credit card" offers or "extended warranty" deals for your car. They even try using the "pre-approved loan" scam---just in time for the Christmas shopping season.

If you receive such bogus deals in the mail---simply discard them ( shredding them is recommended ).

Phone scam teams work too fast for their actual location to be traced.  If you don't take their deal and hang up, they immediately disconnect their call back number in most cases, so you can't call them back.  And they're ready to flee at a moment's notice--and they're pretty clever at not leaving trails leading to them.

It's very likely they're supported discreetly by legit phone companies, like AT&T and Verizon---and even more likely they have lawyers on standby, courtesy of a few ELECTED state and D.C. politicians....just in case.

I'm highly suspicious on HOW these scumbags can get away with their thievery for years---and NOT sweat getting caught and/or arrested.

So for now, your best defense is to hang up or ignore these bogus calls and destroy ALL bogus scam deals mailed to you. You can and should make efforts to contact your state's elected officials in Washington D.C.---demanding they push FBI hard into finding these crooks and shutting them down.

NEVER thought of that ... but, I bet you are correct.  I bet these phone scams are financed by illegal means such as drug cartels or organized crime. There are just too many out there that fall for scams, I find it terribly sad, too. I never/ever answer my phone when I see an unknown number and/or name on the caller ID.  Even a high school graduate should be able to see through these scams, just saying.
