Don't you know? ... "Political Surveys" are exempt from the DNC list!
ANYONE can call your number by just saying they want you to answer a few of their survey questions first. THEN they ask for your credit card numbers and any other information they can con you into giving them.

The calls from this number is getting really old. I am on a do not call listing and they call anyway, can't give the name of who the phone is registered to, so I told them I was recording this call and that I was going to turn them into the FCC and let them get fined as I have the proof they called. Next time they call, think I'll go along and then tell them I charge for calls of this nature and ask how they would like to pay for it at a "special" I am running, 149 a month, billed all at once in 2 year periods. We'll play along with these [***] holes
remember these calls when you hear politicians and talk radio morons railing about "gub-mint regulation" being "socialism." They create a climate that allows consumers to be harassed by shmucks like this outfit and countless others.
I'm getting emails to my gmail account saying I've missed a call from this number, but it's not showing missed on my phone. They get around the DNC list because of the political opinion survey, which is just a disguise for the cruise line or whatever else. The scammers are figuring out how to get around being subjected to the Do Not Call lists. I agree there needs to be a blanket restriction without exceptions. If I want to donate, I'll call them or mail a check.
