The best course of action to take with the scammer calls is to find out what telephone service they use and report Fraud/Abuse to them directly. It can be found online usually.
The Do Not Call Registry is a fraud and a waste of taxpayer's money. If they actually DID anything to stop these calls to the public there would be a decrease in them, NOT AN INCREASE!!
Answered, If you want a quote on dental insurance. I pressed to talk to someone, (wanted them to stop calling) when I told them I didn't want their insurance they hung up.
I got a call from them just before 10am this morning. I'm on the Missouri and national do not call lists.
The recording said they were selling $15 / month dental insurance. The recording said to press "5" to speak to someone or "2" to be removed from their calling list. I pressed "2" but do not expect them to honor anything as they are already breaking the law.
How can these dirt bags keep doing this to people without anyone shutting them down?
This number just called my house 6 times in a row, about 30 seconds apart. I added the number to my 'selective call rejection' list - *60 through my phone provider. I did call the number back and it's the same dental insurance offer everyone else mentions. Interestingly enough, I just took my daughter to a new dentist a few days ago and we don't have dental insurance. I wonder if dentists are selling the names of the uninsured...
