Same, reported. Robo-call saying to, "Regard this as a final notice" of my IRS debt and that the IRS would be pursuing a lawsuit against me if I didn't call back right away.
And you're an idiot. You think these people give a big flying [***] that you told them to quit?
These people don't even live in North America. Their caller IDs are bogus. Get over it. The
government couldn't care less and even if they did there isn't a damn thing they can do about
it so quit wasting your time sending them "reports"......good gawd you people are ignorant...
anny, What Seriously? said above because we are getting tired of these scammers that keeps calling and I have done many methods to stop the telephone scammers and none of these works. Yes, the government does not care and already got backlogged with victims' complaints. What Seriously? is saying is that the person have had with it. You shouldn't be insulting them with your own commentary for this.
Person with a strong foreign accent called to collect an IRS debt. They said there was an error on my tax return and you could hear people in the background talking. I deal with the IRS for my job and know they do not contact people by phone. I told him what he was doing was fraudulent and against the law and eventually he just hung up on me. Total complete scam.
Call came from Bainbridge WA.
