Same, reported. Robo-call saying to, "Regard this as a final notice" of my IRS debt and that the IRS would be pursuing a lawsuit against me if I didn't call back right away.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
And all you'll do by purchasing one of these call blockers is enhance someone else's bank account. These slime balls
change their caller ID numbers faster than you can say it. You'll spend your life entering their NEW numbers into your
NEW call blocker and helping someone else get rich from selling call blocker boxes!
Save yourselves time and trouble and just let all your calls from unknown numbers go to voice mail...

Many people have real lives that require them to answer unknown calls. It's called the world of business!
Call blockers are available for under $50 that will block over 1500 numbers, entire area codes, invalid & private numbers, 800 & toll free numbers and more. Call blocking apps. for smart phones are available for free that have even more capabilities. In this day & age call blockers are a necessity & the fact is that once the "Tele-maggots, Tele-frauds & Tele-scammers" realize you're able to keep blocking their calls they'll move on to "greener pastures". Of course, they'll just sell your number on down the line. No big deal, one call & blocked. If they're really obstinate block the area code they're using & send all 800 numbers straight to voice mail.
Call blockers & apps. are dirt cheap. Only fools & people without real lives would ever be without them.

Why should I verify the number is a working number by allowing it to go to voice mail? Most of these calls do not leave a VM and it only verify's they called a working number. Besides, blocking whole area codes cuts the numbers down to manageable. I get exactly 2 calls per month, usually CCS and Medic Alert. Ones they tend to use repeatedly.
