I got a message claiming something about tax fraud and being arrested. I called back and a women answered with an accent, asked if my phone number was the number called and wanted me to give her my name. I said you called me, I'm not comfortable giving you my personal information over the phone. Her response was calm down ma'am and hung up.
I got a message that they were calling from the IRS about bask taxes owed. She asked for my name to look up my record. I asked several times for the name of her company. She had an Indian accent, and there was a lot of background noise of other calls. When I questioned her legitimacy, she hung up.
I received a call from 209-683-1344 saying a complaint was filed against me for unpaid taxes and to call before I was arrested. I don't think they would call you to tell you they're coming to arrest you.
