I got a message claiming something about tax fraud and being arrested. I called back and a women answered with an accent, asked if my phone number was the number called and wanted me to give her my name. I said you called me, I'm not comfortable giving you my personal information over the phone. Her response was calm down ma'am and hung up.
They called my mom, an older lady who they threatened to take her house away from her!!! They should be ashamed upseting an old person! I called the # back from a diff location. I got an Indian lady. Couldn't understand where she was calling from. Asked again. US Treasury. I hung up. They do not call you esp from a 209 area code. Contaced local pd but there is nothing they can do unless the continue to call.
They Called claiming they are from the IRS and need to call them saying it is the last chance to pay what is owed before they start a lawsuit against us.
