I received a call from this number claiming they were from the IRS. I called gave them the number in which they left a message on and then they hung up. I called back and they asked me the same question. Scary, freaked me out. Not sure how to report these scam artists.
we have been getting calls from this number for the past week. luckily, we have caller ID that identifies the call from san antonio, tx. since we don't know anybody from there, we don't answer the call and whomever it is that is calling never leaves a message.
I have gotten many calls from that number this week... I live near San Antonio and figured if it was important, they'd leave a message. But they never have. While I was reading this post (no joke) I got another call, so I answered. Sirius Satellite Radio sales. Seriously. It's just a tricky way for telemarketers to make us think they aren't telemarketers.
Received a call from this number just now. I answered and heard nothing on the other end. I decided to just hang on and wait for a while to see if anyone would answer on the other end. About a minute or two into the call, a lady said "Hello?". I stated my name and she asked "Is this a business?" I then asked who she was trying to reach, and she again asked "Is this a business?" just before abruptly hanging up on me.
