I responded to an ad on craigslist seeking extras for a potato chip commercial. A woman called me from 212-244-4487. At first, she didn't realize that I had answered and continued making jokes with someone in the background who giggled like a child and said "oh, that's not professional!" When she finally realized I was on the line, she insisted I come in for a modeling shoot with "WMT". I got off the phone, googled the number, and found this page.
I also got a sketchy call from this #212-244-4431 rm216. The girl was very rushed and not interested in anything other than getting me in there. It seemed like a scam right away so I asked if there were ANY types of fees associated with this, she assured me "No" and that I just have to come in for an "interview". I googled the address and my suspicions were confirmed. Saved me a trip and an afternoon. Thanks to all who posted!
