had a call from them today asking me about windows sending error messages i laughed asked him what errors he wanted me to go to my computer i was driving at the time. then asked him what computer software he was talking about and he says windows i laughed again, i don't own windows everything i have is mac and he hung up stupid [***].
They called, wanted access to my computer and identified themselves as being from SAC Solutions or Windows or - well, their story changed as I pressed them. They also called my wife. Then they claimed they got my number from her. After I'd just talked to her and she'd told me otherwise.
Received a call from this number today 3-13-14 identifying themselves as representatives of Windows operaton system. They claimed that my operating system at home was repeatedly sending error messages to the Windows server. I told them that I am not familiar with computers and asked them to contact my stepson and provided his phone number. They suddenly claimed that their shift was ending and would try to reach him tomorrow.
I also got a call from them today (3/26/2014). They claimed my computer was sending error messages to the Windows server and wanted to access my computer remotely. I was on to them immediately and told them to go @%$# themselves. He in turn got nasty with me which confirmed to me it was a scam.
Got a call from this number 3/26/14 - claimed they were Windows Support. I said "I doubt it". They said some gibberish about having my computer ID number. I said "Yeah right - call the next guy now - bye". He called right back and told me that when I get a call from technical support I should be polite and I should realize they know much more than I do, (Yeah - about scams...)
