had a call from them today asking me about windows sending error messages i laughed asked him what errors he wanted me to go to my computer i was driving at the time. then asked him what computer software he was talking about and he says windows i laughed again, i don't own windows everything i have is mac and he hung up stupid [***].
First the novice guy with a terrible English accent tries to convince me that my computer has got virus issues. He called me from 212.414.155 and wanted me to give him remote access to my computer from www.TeamViewer.com. Once I agreed, he brought on his supervisor, who spoke marginally better English, yet sounded pretty stupid.
Good news ! I recorded the entire 7-9 minutes of the conversation, especially the part where he is asking me to give him remote access to my computer. I played back to him the recording, and warned him that I would use this recording when there is a class action lawsuit against him.
For now, I will save this recording until these idiots get sued for attempted theft. The whole idea behind remote access is to install software that will steal usernames, passwords, credit card numbers, etc.
Don't you love it. He insisted that I called him. He said his name was John Macelroy.(with a Pakistani accent). I asked him to spell his last name and he told me it was spelled Malcredleoy, then I asked him his firs name spelling Gon. Had some fun with him and hung up on him.
I got a call from this number today (5/7/14) as well. The guy claimed I called him so he could assist me with my computer. He kept saying "ok?" after every sentence. When I called him a fraud, he said "I'm going to get you." I said "oh yeah?" in which he replied "I'm going to kill you ma'am." I reported this to my local police who says they get this all of the time. You would think they could do ozone thing about these people. My number is registered on donotcall.gov but apparently that doesn't matter.
