had a call from them today asking me about windows sending error messages i laughed asked him what errors he wanted me to go to my computer i was driving at the time. then asked him what computer software he was talking about and he says windows i laughed again, i don't own windows everything i have is mac and he hung up stupid [***].
The number called me today too, I didnt answer it, but I googled the number and found this site and all of the comments above. Interestingly enough another number called me earlier today 214-316-9648 from texas with an automated voice claiming I had won a free trip to the Bahamas (i immediately hung up). Twice in one day with phone scams. I called my phone carrier and blocked the first number and when the second call of 212414155 came in I didnt answer and tried to block the number with my phone carrier but couldnt because it's not 10 digits. Geez these dirt bag phone scammers are busy today.
got call; said he was with windows about problems with my computer.
told him nothing wrong with my computer and he insisted there was;
he started arguing; told him to never call back and remove the number from all call lists and I hung up.
The same number called right back; and I added to reject list.
Just received a call from this number today at 1:15, the gentleman with an accent proceeded to tell me that my computer had a virus and to open it so that he could fix it. I asked what company he was from and he kept saying technical support, I then said tech support is not a compay ,as I further grilled him, he figured out that he couldn't win and hung up. If you're going to pull a scam, know what to say and atleast speak english fluently. At this trying time in our lives, it makes americans not trust anyone with accents because of previous events. #theymakeitbadforotherswithaccents#
This is the second time I have gotten a call from these people trying to get remote access to my pc. I have notified H.P. about this. The first time the phone number was 10 digits long so I had a number to give H.P. to work with. This time it was just 9 numbers so I knew it was bogus. I was smart enough to not give them remote access to my pc the first time they called, but warned everyone I know not to be fooled. This time I was ready for them. I like the reply from Lulymia that he/she works for the federal government. I will use that the next time. Maybe it will be my last call from them if I say that.
