had a call from them today asking me about windows sending error messages i laughed asked him what errors he wanted me to go to my computer i was driving at the time. then asked him what computer software he was talking about and he says windows i laughed again, i don't own windows everything i have is mac and he hung up stupid [***].
Just got a call from this number and I didn't say hello as I didnt recognize the number. They hung up! Thanks to these post I know it would have just been a scam.
Just got a call from this number on 8/8/14. Called and hung up before I could answer. Then called right back. When I said hello someone with an Indian accent said "yes ma'am, this is Claude. thank you." And hung up. Weird.
Well they are still at it...I got a call from this number today but no one was on the other end. Glad of that. I usually don't answer calls unless it is someone I know. Guess I need to get back to that and if it is so #^$&^$ important they can leave a voice message.
Same thing happened to me today several times. I hung up and they called right back. I blocked the number and then got a call from "unknown". Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message
Yeah, I got a call from them too a couple weeks ago and they told me the same thing. I knew instantly that it was a scam and told them to never call again. It makes absolutely no sense that, 1. Someone else would have direct access to my computer and 2. that they would call me for error messages versus me calling them if I needed help. Plus, nothing is wrong with my computer at all, so I knew it was bullsh*t.
