had a call from them today asking me about windows sending error messages i laughed asked him what errors he wanted me to go to my computer i was driving at the time. then asked him what computer software he was talking about and he says windows i laughed again, i don't own windows everything i have is mac and he hung up stupid [***].
212414155 appears as the caller, unavailable information.
I sent it to voicemail. I'm not answering a 9 digit number! If anyone knows what it is, I'd love to know.
Got a call from 212-414-155 on 7/24/14. I usually don't get these kind of scammer calls. But my girl does all the time. I called a 201 number back cause they keep harassing my girl claiming they are debut collectors. Asking for someone that we don't know. They call from all sorts of different numbers. I think its funny since i called them back today now i start getting these scam calls. My advice is don't pick up. Don't agree to anything. I heard one story where they got someone to say yes for something then charged him money. and when he said i never agreed to that they played back the audio. SCAMMERS and i don't think the police can do anything because they don't know how. These scammers and very intelligent it's too bad they are on the wrong side. beware guys and gals
What a freaking joke. Just got the same call. First time it was a girl who spoke perfect English, but she woke me up and said she was sorry and would call me back. Then some Indian called me and I demanded to speak with someone who spoke English. He put on another Indian who spoke better English and he claimed the same thing...he was from microsoft support and my computer was sending them error messages and they wanted me to turn on my computer and run a few steps. [***]!! I would rather swim naked across the Ganges river in India with a paper cut on my nipple and get a virus that way. I've had my computer for years and I've sent error messages to microsoft with no response. All of a sudden they care about current error messages. I don't think so. He hung up when I asked him what his phone # was where I could contact him in the future after I do some research and find out this is a scam. Oh yeah and when I told him this sounds like a scam in the beginning he assured me that he would tell me some kind of ID # that only I would know.
