The McGraw-Hill Companies telephone number 212 512-2524 has been spoofed and is appearing as if it is coming from the company however it is coming from scammers overseas and they are trying to gain access into your computer.

Just got 3 calls from 212-438-7895, a man with a very thick accent informed me that there was a prob lem with our computer. Told me to go turn it on. I hung up. This person or someone else has tried to call me back 3 different times. We have not answered.
The scammers continue to use this telephone # 212 438-7895. Be aware and do not give any information and report the scam to the FCC.
Once again this number is not coming from The McGraw-Hill Companies and has been spoofed.
DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THE CALLERS AND HANG UP. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU ARE ON A DO NO CALL LIST. THE SCAMMERS ARE CALLING ALL NUMBERS.
I also got a call from someone with a heavy accent. They said they were from "Best Help" or I think that is what she was saying. Anyway she said someone was trying to hack into my computer. I think it was her:) I told her I did not know who she was and to leave me alone. I reported the call to my internet provider who said it is an ongoing scam. Caller ID shows it as McGraw Hill Com. I guess they already know about this so I won't bug them about it. Probably a sore subject:)
Received a call from 212-438-7895. The woman with an Indian accent told me there was a prob w/my computer, to go turn it one and she would guide me through a corrective process. When I questioned her, she indicated she was from "Best Help," her name was Nancy (maybe Charles), and gave me her return number as 866-539-8674. I did not phone her back. Just want to report her and her obvious scam to SOMEONE!
Is there any other computer scam 'watch=dog' org or legal authority I could contact as well?
