Received all this a.m. and person started to talk about my address and computer. Yelled at the person, male with strong accent, and told him not to ever call my number again.
I just received a call from Arguna Security at this number. The person on the phone had a very heavy accent, probably East Indian or Pakistani. There were clearly many other people in the room with him making the same call. I could barely understand what he was saying but from what I could understand Arguna received messages or viruses from my computer and they wanted to walk me through how to find out what virus had been downloaded. I started questioning who they were and how they got my number and name. I was transferred to two "senior supervisors" who spoke even less English. When I started asking for them to spell some of the words they were using, they hung up.
I just received a call from McGraw Hill Com at this number, also from somebody with a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent, but a woman in this case. She had a similar story that a dangerous virus had been downloaded onto my computer. I told her to take me off their list, and then hung up.
Caller tried calling my granny and getting her to check her computer for a virus when her computer hasn't even been plugged in for over 6 months. i tried to call the number back but it says it is a non working number and lists an address. so.......Scam Scam Scam
