Got a call today supposedly taking a survey
for the Virginia Lottery and asking to speak to the man of the
house. What a ripoff that polling/survey companies are
allowed to invade our privacy despite the do not call list.
Call their supervisor 212-260-0070...they'll remove you from their polling/survey(and tell them that picking between any of these candidates is like picking your favorite Menendez brother...nice little jab for having them call 9 times a day)
I received 4 calls on Sunday and 4 calls on Monday. I ignored most of them, but I answered a couple and there was no one on the other end, indicating an automatic dialer. It is my understanding that survey calls can be made until 10pm. I googled the number and found a contact in New York. I was advised that my number would be removed from their data base. I called them back about a half dozen times for verification. I once even tried to do a survey with them. I intend to report to them each time that I get such a call in the future from anyone...just incase they decide to gather statistics on such calls.
