thank you so very much! I received so many calls, where the caller would not even say anything at all, they would simply just hang up as soon as I picked up the phone. Your tip was extremely helpful!
Called the supervisor number as suggested and they promptly removed my two phone numbers. They are a research company with an auto dialer. Although no one is on the line when you answer, they said it takes 10 seconds for the rep to come on. Regardless, he gladly took our numbers out of the system
I have been on the Do Not Call List for several years & was called on 2 MAR 2007 at 6:01 PM and then again at 7:08 PM. Caller ID read NEW YORK, NY and both times when I answered "Hello?" there were multiple clicks on the other end of the line and no one answered. I called the number back by using *67 to block my number and the line was busy. I tried a gain and same thing Third time the line rang 50+ times with no answer. Did some on-line investigation and the company is CENTRAL RESEARCH.
