Caller, sounds like a person from India, asked for husband by name, then claims he is in the tech support dept and calling about a problem with Windows on my computer. Wants me to sit at the computer to verify his info. Scary SCAM!! He sounds like most tech support people. Wonder how many poor folks are falling for this.
just got a call from this number, woman, very thick indian accent. told her we did not own a computer...our usual response to these types of calls and asked to be removed from the call list. she then got very mad and yelled at me stating "why, why madam, would you listen to me if you do do not have a computer?" then , when i asked to be removed from the call list, she yelled " no, no...i am going to spread your number over the whole entire world!" what a bunch of crap!!! right before christmas and in front of my young daughter!!! awesome! i am soooooo tired of these idiots calling and harassing us!!! we have an unlisted blocked number as well as anomomous caller id, but does not seem to make a difference!!! wow! what an a**hole!
I just received the 3rd call for today from 212-545-8482 L Hillary LCSW. This number has been calling me for 3 months everyday and 3-4 times per day. Today the guy said his name is Peter. I told him like all the other times I am on the Do Not Call List both state and federal. Like all the other times, Peter ignored me and continued to talk about my computer. I told Peter, I do not have a computer and you are a fraud and scam. I asked Peter, how do you sleep at a night knowing your are scamming and hurting innocent people. Peter hung up on me. Filing report with FCC, FTC and Attorney Generals office. This is a HUGE SCAM.
Just received a call from an Indian-accented man named "Nathan," who said he was calling from Microsoft. It's the old Microsoft Windows "technical support" scam.
