A call from this L.A. VOIP number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message. This is typical of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who use automated dialers to place calls.
According to this and other websites, the caller purports to offer a "free" cruise. This is one of many scams desperately seeking to separate victims from their hard-earned money, even on Labor Day!
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.
I never answer calls from #'s I don't recognize. Can all these scammers and cheats and thieves be rounded up, put in a locked room that echoes, with no food or water, and be subjected to 1000 phones ringing all at once with all their various ringtones, and the ringing only stopping when a battery runs out, to be replaced with another ringing phone with a fresh battery,
