Make sure you have your passport ready since you will need to fly to a country overseas. Of course once there if you are caught you are then subject to their laws. As to threatening them, they know it is a hollow threat and they have heard it all.
Just received a message from Steve Modern from 213-401-2952. He states "this is a enforcement action executed by the US Treasury. To avoid a grand jury trial or go in front of magistrate judge for a federal criminal charge please cooperate with and call us back." Sounds like a big SCAM!!! BEWARE!!!
I'm in Las Vegas and received this call. I assumed it is a scam, as if we had serious problems as he suggested, I wouldn't be getting a threatening call out of the blue. I googled the number and this forum came up, and I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who took the time to comment here, so I was able to know, right away, that this is indeed a scam. I'm not sure who to report this to. Police? Seems like a pretty serious offense they're committing with these types of threats. What idiots.
