I keep getting harrasing phone calls from this number a strange man keeps saying hello than hangs up. Please if u see this number dont answer it . It seems like a scam
Who are these people and what do they want. They call every day, several times a day. The phone rings once or twice and then it stops and this number is on my caller ID. No message and I'm definitely not calling it back. Too many scams being run out there
I just got called by the same number (215)-526-2600, "Oxford Law Firm" wanting to speak to my father, claiming they were not a collection agency and they were not trying to sell anything. He said he would break federal law if he told me what he was calling about. Obviously they aren't a law firm, especially since my father lives all the way out in Utah. I want to know how they have access to the cell-phone numbers of the relatives of people they harass.
These people called me and called me by the wrong last name. They reported it was a law firm. i hung up called them back. They claimed they could not find a file (they just called). They then asked for my SS #! Heck No! I do not owe any debt! FRAUD
This number called and I was half asleep when I answered phone and they told me I owed 3500 from 1987 to a credit card place I don't even remember having a credit card by this company. Come to find our when I did research the company has not even been in business since 2000 when it was bought out by Chase Bank.. Their is nothing on my credit report or my wife's plus it is over 30 yrs old.. I told them I was not paying anything since more than 7 yrs had passed. They said they would settle for 1100 dollars.. Told them I would contact my lawyer which I know for a fact that after 7 yrs if I had owed anything they would have written it off if it had not been paid off.. My lawyer said ignore them and if needed he would write a letter.. They call once a day and leave a message for us to contact them do not answer phone anymore when this number comes up and they also try and call from another number routed through our area code trying to trick us.
