Abusive telephone calling patterns and making threats to consumers about their credit.  Fabrications to trick people into sending them money to pay for unknown, identity thefts and old expired debts.

Make a report with your local law enforcement, federal trade commission and consumer affairs division of your state attorney general office.   Stop these terrorists and their clear pattern of harassment.

Long history of shady collection practices on 800notes.com   Seem to specialize in Zombie debts.   Debts barred by the SOL, but nevertheless they call about hoping you'll pay them.  Stay away from these people.  Report them to your local attorney general.

Block their calls. Do not talk to them; do not give them any information.

Oxford Law has a new phone number they are using.  1-855-346-6074.  This phone number is coming from Trevose Pennsylvania.  In a letter, their phone # is 1-267-328-2200. Also, a toll free number, 1-855-346-6644.   I have received 16 calls in 10 days from Oxford Law LLC.  Today, Jan. 17, 2015 I got a letter demanding over $3,000.00 from my deceased son, (dead over 2 years now).  The letter states that they are collecting for the  ROSETTA GROUP.  They have even threatened me with a warrant for my arrest if I don't pay his bill.  He never owed a bill to a bank in his life.  When they threatened me with arrest, I told them to come on out, that I have a friend that will pay the bill.  His name is Smith and Wesson, and his badge number is 38/357Mag.  Come and get it.  She hung up.  I have been cussed, called a liar, been called his wife and threatened many times.   I'm taking the letter to the police next week.

It looks like "Oxford Law" has hired Ryon Alan Gambill to do business development. Gambill used to run Marauder Corporation, which was abruptly closed down.

Gambill has been convicted of phone harassment. Gambill has at least one outstanding arrest warrant.

It seems as though birds of a feather flock together.

When these people call, ask them if they have met Gambill, and warn them about his criminal past.

Gambill's former manager of customer service, Ray Wrightsman, was convicted of domestic abuse, use that against them as well.

The State of Minnesota has them as inactive as of 2013.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the date of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
