My caller said he was from "WINDOWS Support" not Microsoft. There is a difference. Microsoft is trademarked, copyrighted etc. windows is not and can't be. Anyone can say they work for windows, Microsoft is a different story.
He got all huffy when I called hin a "pakistani scammer". In retrospect his English was so good he is probably Filippino.
I just received a call from this number, I let the answering machine take the call and they hung up,I agree that Microsoft needs to know about this,anyone know a number to call?
I got a call from this number. They gave my dads name and what our address used to be (over 4 yrs ago). Then proceded to tell me that my computer was hacked. I asked him which one and to tell me what my antivirus is. He got mad and said he was blocking my computer. Then repeated the name and address. I told him I was using a computer just fine. He said my screen would go black in 3 hours. He continued saying that until he hung up. I guesss I should start the timer, lol. Number was 218-520-4673.
I do not think you can do anything with these idiots, my local pd which I work for told me there is nothing we can do just hang up... I placed music and dr. phil for him to listen too... I put block, and when I do not recognize the number I put on block.. but I have a business and I can not shut out everyone.. while they still talk I say yes but don't speak inglish the man says slowly you understand me now, I said no. I feel so sorry for my neighbor josh he is 90 yrs old and he communicates with his daughter. he is old and his wife who is 75 goes on the computer to talk to their daughter they about got him for 900.00 I told him to go to the police.. I called while they were on the phone with this people,. as soon as josh was about to send them his cc I told him what you doing is illegal and you can go to jail, to frighten him which he did not do... so they did not give it to them, they were so excited to get it, they told him its a safe site.. you can hear men in the background saying we got another jerk... when I got to them, I gave it to them, calling them this.... pumunta betchot iyong sarili if you are Filipino you would know what this means.
