My caller said he was from "WINDOWS Support" not Microsoft. There is a difference. Microsoft is trademarked, copyrighted etc. windows is not and can't be. Anyone can say they work for windows, Microsoft is a different story.
He got all huffy when I called hin a "pakistani scammer". In retrospect his English was so good he is probably Filippino.
Guy called me an a-hole. Told me I was dumb and needed to get with the 21st century. I reminded him that Microsoft doesn't call people and he said his name is Michael Watson and his manager is Kevin. Of course Kevin wasn't around to talk to about him calling me names. He asked for a wrong last name and address too. This guy was THE worst one to deal with. He said he was in Walnut, California. I hate liars.
I find that these calls give me chance to screw with people. I like to say "He's dead, can I take a message?" or "He's been kidnapped, have you heard anything?", or the occasional "Spanish por favor".
