I am receiving calls from someone claiming they are the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) and they are filing a lawsuit against. I believe this is a scam. Called them back and told them if they continued to call us I would turn them in to the federal & state Frau Department.
I got two calls back to back from 240-204-9491 and 202-864-0170. Scared the crap out of me with that mess. They are from the IRS and they are filing a lawsuit against me......really!!! I called the numbers back and neither one of them work. REALLY!!
Just got a call from this number also, answered it, was a recording telling me that the IRS was filing a lawsuit. They are a scam, I reported it to the FTC and the IRS. The IRS doesn't threaten lawsuits, and certainly not without written notice of some type.

I got the same thing, saying the same message, if the IRS really wanted to come after me about money they know my address. When I originally got the call I had the so called rep give me the address they so call send me notices too and it was completely different. I have blocked there number and have reported them
